11th Annual Justice Jog benefiting CASA of LA
The Greater Los Angeles Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators (GLA ALA) is excited to announce the 11th Annual Justice Jog 5K/10K Run/Walk! This year's race will take place in Century City on Sunday morning, September 23, 2018.
GLA ALA is proud to once again partner with CASA of Los Angeles (Court Appointed Special Advocates), an organization that recruits, trains and supports court-appointed volunteers to advocate on behalf of children. GLA ALA chooses to support CASA/LA because there are over 30,000 children in the foster care system and we believe each one deserves a CASA.
Our goals for 2018 include raising over $100,000 for CASA/LA, signing up over 50 teams and registering over 1,000 runners, joggers or walkers. And for the second year, we will be having a 10K Run/Walk in addition to our traditional 5K.
This event is a labor of love for our planning committee, who selflessly volunteer hundreds of hours to ensure the Justice Jog is a well-executed and professional event. The Justice Jog brings the legal community, local businesses, community leaders, friends and family together for a great cause.
GLA ALA is the local source to promote, educate, develop, support and inspire more than 350 legal professionals throughout Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Ventura and Riverside counties.

The Justice Jog is a 5K/10K Run/Walk taking place in Century City on Sunday, September 23, 2018.
All race participants will receive a runner's hi-tech shirt, breakfast and a finisher medal (while supplies last).
Time: Check-in and Expo open at 6:30 a.m. 5K and 10K Races will start promptly at 8:00 a.m. Breakfast burritos will be available once the race starts.
Location: 1800 Avenue of the Stars, Los Angeles, CA 90067.
Parking: Park across the street (5 minute walk to course) at the Westfield Mall at 10250 Santa Monica Blvd. 90067. Enter on Santa Monica between Century Park West and Avenue of the Stars. Parking is $1/first 3 hours, then $2 for every 30 minutes thereafter.
Street Closures: Please note that many streets in Century City may be closed so be sure to arrive early.
Dogs: We discourage bringing dogs as property management does not allow them in the expo area. Dogs on the course must be on a short leash in the back of the start line to avoid tripping runners.
Teams:
Team registration is valid for both the 5K and the 10K. Participant must select which race they are competing for at the time of registering. Teams must have a minimum of 5 participants per race in order to compete for the timed team awards. The first 5 team members across the finish line will score points towards the overall team score. Team awards will be given to the overall Fastest Law Firm and the Fastest Corporate Team.

For each additional participants/fundraisers to an existing team - $50 or $250 for a group of 5
All team sponsorships include the Run/Walk entry fees up to the number of team participants, sponsorship recognition on the Run/Walk T-Shirts, Group Sponsorship signage at the event and Team pictures.
Individual participants 13 years and older - $40 for 5K; $50 for 10K
Individual participants 5 to 12 years old - $20 for 5K; $25 for 10K
Kids 4 and under are free
